About The Owner
Chiquita Carter began her career in the cosmetology industry after completing her studies as a Basic Cosmetologist, Advanced Cosmetologist and Master Instructor.
After completing her education, Chiquita opened her first salon: CC and Company in 1979.
One year after opening her salon, Chiquita bought the beauty school from which she graduated, beginning her adventure in the world of education. She is now the CEO and owner of CC's Cosmetology Colleges; East Tulsa (Main Campus), West Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Idabel, Texarakana, Texas, and Texarkana, Arkansas.
Mrs. Carter has served as a board member for the Oklahoma Cosmetology Association, the American Association of Cosmetology Schools, former Chairman of the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, and former Treasurer and Commissioner Representing Zone 2: Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
